It’s only 10 days until people all over the Country will be voting in the County Council elections.

In Warwickshire, all 62 County Council seats are up for election, and over 250 local people have put themselves forward as election candidates.

And then don’t forget to vote on 2nd May!

Warwick Area Committee – 10 January 2012

Warwick Area Committee has responsibility for making decisions and recommendations about County Council services in the local area. It provides a local view on big issues affecting the County, helps to monitor how well the County Council is performing locally, takes decisions on some grants to local organisations, and provides an opportunity for local people to be involved in decisions affecting them.

  • An outline of Warwickshire’s local broadband plan.
  • Consideration of objections to Warwick’s town centre traffic management scheme.
  • Consideration of objections to proposed speed limits on the A445 Leicester Lane, Bubbenhall and Glasshouse Lane, Kenilworth.
  • Recommendations for the use of unallocated Warwick Area funding.
