Police and Crime Panel – 22 June

Now that the Police and Crime Commissioner (PCC) has been in post for a full year, the Police and Crime Panel are due to assess his performance against his pledges. The PCC’s annual report, which highlights what work that he has undertaken over the past year, is due to be considered at a meeting of the Panel at 11am on 22 June 2017, Shire Hall, Warwick.  Other issue on the agenda include:

  • The Police and Crime Panel Annual Report
  • An update from the Police and Crime Commissioner
  • Grants to organisations that support the objectives of the Police and Crime Plan
  • A review of the Panels Work Programme

The Panel’s membership has changed considerably following the May 2017 Local Election, and after a productive induction session, it is clear that there is a range of new skills and experience among the membership.

As always, members of the public are invited to attend the meeting to observe the Panel doing the important job of holding the PCC to account. The Panel will be holding meetings throughout Warwickshire to boost their exposure to residents across the breadth of the county.
