Warwickshire Police and Crime Panel 24 June 2016

This will be the Panel’s first meeting with the newly elected Police and Crime Commissioner, Philip Seccombe, considering an extensive agenda. The Panel’s role will be to hold the Police and Crime Commissioner to account throughout his four year term. The Panel’s first duty will be to appoint a Chair and Vice-Chair for the municipal year. Items being considered at this meeting also include:

  1. An update on the Warwickshire Police Professional Standards complaints data. This report provides a brief summary of performance for complaint recording and investigation timeliness for Warwickshire Police.
  1. The outgoing Police and Crime Commissioner’s Annual Report details the work of the Commissioner over the past year, and provides a review of their four year term. Reflections consider the success of the Alliance with West Mercia Police and the development of the Multi-Agency Safeguarding Hub (MASH).
  1. The report of the current Police and Crime commissioner will be presented which provides an overview of the key activities that have taken place since the Panel last met on 18th March 2016.
  1. A confirmation hearing for the Chief Finance Officer of the Office of the Police and Crime Commissioner.
